The aim of this training is to show how breaches of the FADP are investigated and ruled by the federal and judicial authorities. We will cover the types of violations and the justifications for processing personal data lawfully. We will then detail the powers of the Federal Data Protection Commissioner and the measures he is empowered to take. Finally, we will cover the various civil and criminal actions provided for by the law. The training will be based on a fictitious exercise, incorporating the above points
