Regulatory Template

Material changes

The documents have been reviewed and we can confirm that there have been no major relevant regulatory changes since the last publication of this Country Manual.

Non-material changes

The condition “The representative must show the “carte de démarchage “ has been deleted from the Behaviour Template. However, although not reflected in the Behaviour Template anymore, this remains a requirement, as explained in the Regulatory Template, when soliciting non-qualified prospects on the French territory.

In the Behaviour Template and the Regulatory Template the condition “Local provisions on the annual percentage rate of charge must be respected” has been added were relevant, to reflect what was already indicated in the RT, i.e. that the French provisions on the annual percentage rate of charge are applicable in any scenario in business relationships with French consumers.

The sections on Tax have been updated in a more detailed manner and some amendments were made throughout the whole Regulatory Template for more clarity, without bringing any material changes.
