The Country Manual has been reviewed to ensure that the content of all the documents remain accurate and up to date.
Material changes
There are no material changes that affect the answers in the Country Manual Products Behaviour Template (CM P BT).
Non-material changes
Some comments and content have been slightly reworded in the CM, without introducing substansive changes to reflect the regulatory situation/current interpretation of the regulatory framework more accurately (e.g. it includes reference to the publication of the decision of the French Court de Cassation in November 2023 on the application of the Direct Marketing rules (Démarchage) to unlicensed third country and EU non-passported service providers who are now able to benefit from the Direct Marketing exemptions listed in Art. L341-2 of the MFC when operating on a limited basis in France or actively directing their services on a cross-border basis into France (please refer to Alert BRP France 5/2023).
