The aim of the webinar is to understand the existing regulatory framework (especially in the EU and ESMA’s practice) on marketing activities in the financial sector. Particular attention will be given to the dissemination of marketing materials, the use of social media by financial intermediaries, and the organisation of marketing events and sponsoring. Industry practices and current trends for increasing brand awareness will also be explored, alongside regulatory developments in jurisdictions beyond the EU. The session will include practical examples and use cases.
