CRD VI – Branch Requirement under Article 21c and Exceptions

Webinar in English

Recognised for SAQ recertification – 1.5 SAQ credits

This webinar provides a practical overview of the new CRD VI regime, focusing on Article 21c, the branch requirement and the related exceptions for third-country credit institutions. It will cover in particular reverse solicitation and compare its treatment under CRD VI, MiFID II and MiCA. The session will also address other key exceptions, such as the MiFID II carve-out, grandfathering of existing contracts, and supervisory monitoring of cross-border activities. Participants will gain insight into how CRD VI is being implemented across selected EU Member States, together with BRP’s practical approach to preparing for the new framework.
