DESCRIPTION:Cross-border Switzerland UK – What’s New! – Berne Financial Services Agreement\nInitial operational reflections on the new cooperation agreement\n  \nWebinar in English \n\nOn 3 November\, FINMA and the FCA published their respective practical guides on the new agreement between Switzerland and the United Kingdom (Berne Financial Services Agreement). \nDuring the webinar\, the BRP team will comment on the contents of these guides\, highlighting the main operational guidelines for Swiss financial intermediaries. \n  \nThe Berne Financial Services Agreement (BFSA) marks a significant milestone in relations between Switzerland and the United Kingdom\, creating a framework for cooperation that expands access to financial markets and opens up concrete opportunities for the development of cross-border services. \nThis new agreement is unprecedented in the European landscape: it is the first bilateral agreement in the financial sector based on mutual equivalence rather than simple unilateral recognition. \nThe purpose of the event is to present the practical effects arising from the agreement in the provision banking and financial services from Switzerland to the United Kingdom. The essential points in these areas will be explored\, both those covered by the agreement and those not addressed.
